CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the St. Andrew’s Non-Food Pantry! They are the newest recipient of $9,600.00. Thank you Joan Davis for presenting. We are always excited to become more aware of what’s going on in Putnam County! Though the Non-Food Pantry won, we heard from two other very worthy causes to be considered in the future!

1. Carenet Pregnancy Center presented by Susan Price
Assists those facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies with love and educational information through confidential services.

3. St. Andrew’s Non-Food Pantry presented by Joan Davis
The Non-Food Pantry is a community outreach program serving the citizens of Putnam County. Our purpose is to distribute the many household products that food stamps do not pay for. We offer cooking and shopping tips, helping patrons learn how to best utilize their food stamps in buying nutritious food products.

The group started the evening with 90 women and quickly grew to 96! We’re still aiming to reach 100+ Women Who Care. It’s never too late to join. If you’re interested you can find a form on this site or go to http://www.pcfoundation.org.
Putnam County has a bright future with the youth in our community! We had a wonderful, top-notch event hosted by the Area 30 Culinary students mentored by Mary Anne Birt! We were so impressed with their talent, skill and determination to serve this group and to do it with so much respect, detail and enthusiasm. The students’ parents and teachers have so much to be proud of! Thank You for all of your hard work to make this an experience none of the women will forget!
