Greetings 100 Women Who Care Putnam County!
We want to thank each of you for taking the time and making the commitment to renew for 2015! We’re excited to come together again, 4 more times this year to GIVE to some great local non-profits!
A few announcements for you:
1. We’re welcoming Kate Knaul and Cheryl Selvey to the Steering Committee! They will be great additions to leading this organization! As always, if you’re interested in being on this committee contact Julie Thompson at 765-739-8148 or gjtsthomp@gmail.com
2. You may renew your membership or join 100 Women Who Care for the first time by going to http://www.pcfoundation.org and printing off a form! You may send the form and a $100 check made payable to PCCF (in memo line put 100 Women), which will go towards the 100 Women Who Care endowment! Then, remember to come on February 4, 2015 to socialize with other women of our community, nominate an organization that’s important to you, possibly speak on behalf of your organization, and then Who Will It Be? Vote and make out your check or pay cash of $100 to the winning organization! Your $100 added to hers added to mine…………….adds up to a HUGE impact for a Putnam County 501c3 non-profit organizations! The bonus of this, we get to give to 4 different groups over the course of the year, creating a lasting impact!
3. Details…Detail….Details! For our Kick off event on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015, we will meet once again at The Inn at DePauw! Registration begins at 5:00, in which you may register, socialize, enjoy some appetizers and really get to know the women of the group! The meeting portion of the event will begin at 6:00pm and last 1 hour until 7:00pm! We do have a back up date of February 11th in case of questionable weather on the 4th!
4. If you are unable to attend the event, please send a proxy vote along with your blank check with another member! Your proxy vote will NOT be counted if your $100 is not attached. You may also, drop off your blank check and proxy at the Putnam County Community Foundation prior to Feb. 4th.
